My Story
Healing doesn’t have to be slow or draining. I help people, including many with ADHD, find peace with their past, joy in the present, and hope for what’s ahead, using an approach that’s gentler and faster than other therapies.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and supportive conversation psychotherapy to help you understand where your thoughts and patterns come from, offering insight and perspective to draw on. For clients looking to go deeper, I also offer Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), a hypnotherapy based method used for more than just trauma. Unlike EMDR hypnotherapy, RRT lets you work through pain without having to relive it, and clients often leave sessions feeling “peaceful” and “unstuck.”
ADHD is a particular focus of mine. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in over 700 sessions through ADHD related challenges like executive dysfunction and emotional regulation, and I bring 76 hours of specialized RRT training to that work. I also work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, heartbreak, anger, guilt, and shame. If chronic pain or painful past events have been hard to move through, I’d love to help you find your way forward.
Sessions are offered virtually Wednesday through Friday, 10am to 4pm. Let’s start with a free 15 minute consultation. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward feeling like yourself again.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Aurora University (2010) and a Bachelor of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago (2009). Before moving into mental health, I worked as a registered dental hygienist, earning my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from William Rainey Harper College in 2007.
Outside of work, I love singing, painting, and sewing, and spending time with my husband and children.
